Port Vale’s new signing Sam Kelly believes hard work will bring him success during his time with the club.
The 21-year-old signed a two-year contract, with an option for a further year, at Vale Park on Monday after a couple of weeks of negotiations.
Formerly of Norwich City and Everton, Kelly is now looking forward to testing himself in Sky Bet League One with the Valiants under Rob Page.
Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player, the winger emphasised that he will put in maximum effort during his time with the club.
“Footballers only usually get the year contract and it’s hard work but that’s not going to change,” he said.
“In the two-years I’m still going to be working like I would in the first year and if I’m doing well I’ll hopefully get the other year.”
