Defender Ryan Inniss feels like he fits in at Port Vale and says that was a big reason behind his decision to return.
The club confirmed the signing of the 20-year-old on Monday morning and he is already looking forward to getting out on the pitch.
Inniss could make his first appearance of pre-season against Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday and will be available for the League One opener at Crewe Alexandra.
Speaking exclusively to Valiant PlayerHD, the centre back says he has been given a warm welcome back and is now keen to impress.
“I’ve been on a few loans before as most will know and I’ve had a few injuries before, obviously I’m still growing and I’m a big lad,” he said.
“But the feel was right here, I feel like I fitted in, even though I’ve come from South London so the lads have welcomed me back and obviously I’m keen to impress further.”
