Port Vale interim manager Rob Page was pleased with the patience of his players during their 3-0 win over Leyton Orient.

Speaking to Valiant Player after the match, Page expressed his delight at Vale’s performance and praised his side for keeping their first clean sheet of the season.

 

“Not only have we scored three goals but we’ve kept a clean sheet as well which is nice,” he said.

 

“From front to back I thought we were well organised, defended really well and some of our forward play.

 

“We had to be patient because away from home their a difficult side, they’ve shown that in the last four results they’ve picked up.

 

“We knew we had to be patient in the build up and we got three points we deserved.”
