Vale to take a striong side to Shrewsbury for this afternoon's match
Vale take a strong team to the Greenhous Meadow for this afternoon’s Final Third Development League fixture against Shrewsbury Town.
Boss Rob Page will be keen to find out how his players perform with a home game against Rochdale on Saturday in mind, when both Richard Duffy and Ryan McGivern will be unavailable.
The pair each picked up a yellow cad against MK Dons on Saturday, ruling them out of Vale’s next match.
November.ndThe fact that McGivern will be away on international duty does not affect things and he will be available for Vale’s following fixture, ironically against MK Dons on the 22
In the meantime Page has to consider his options for Saturday. Although he has skipper Carl Dickinson available again, there are still other options to consider elsewhere at the back.
