Samuel Maurice is currently sitting pretty at the top of the league, his team ‘The Valiants’ having amassed an enviable total of 1,422 points – 22 points clear of second place.

Sam is actually top of four other leagues right now, and in second place in a sixth, so well done that man!

His team? Sam has gone for Artur Boruc In goal and in front of the Southampton stopper he has opted for a back three of Michael Dawson, John Terry and Per Mertesacker. In midfield he has Adam Lallana, Yohan Cabaye, Eden Hazard and Gnegneri Yaya Touré. Up top for the Valants are Romelu Lukaku Sergio Agüero and skipper Luis Suárez.

Sam’s team picked up a creditable 70points last weekend, but our second selection this week have done slightly better, hitting the 71 point mark, although they are nowhere near as high in the table.
