Skipper targets double figures
After hitting goals five, six and seven for the season over the last few days, Doug Loft says he doesn’t intend leaving it at that and he is targeting double figures for the season.
But although he wants a few more goals to his name, he would settle for the team doing well and achieving their own target.
He says: “I want more and there are a lot of games to go so I will be looking to score a few more between now and the end of the season.
“I would like to get double figures and I think I can, but as long as the team does well and I keep creating goals as well I will be happy.
“We know where we want to finish in the league and we are aiming for that and we have got to start winning games again and be a bit more resilient.
“It is a long season and I will talk about where we are at the end. There are going to be ups and downs from here on with some tricky games to come, but we will keep trying to get more points on the board.”
