A supporter's view of things Port Vale
The Vale look as though they are getting to grips with this league now, four wins in five games bearing that out. The recent games have been very entertaining and we are in our highest position for seven years so it all bodes well for bringing the punters in on a regular basis. With three home games to come this week who knows where we could be in ten days time!
It would be easy to get carried away, easily done after a couple of wins, but I’ll just be happy if we finish somewhere around the middle of the league this time around, and build for the future.
One thing that will help is an appearance in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final at Wembley. The money that generates would be very welcome, as we well know having had two final victories before, albeit one of them being at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium. Let’s send Rochdale packing on Tuesday after first doing the same to Bristol City on Saturday.
