anniversary of the NHS.thTalking about the visit Dave said: “We are really grateful that Micky and Rob Taylor, took time out of their busy schedules to come along to the station to meet with ambulance staff in Stoke to help mark the 65
“Ambulance personnel provide an invaluable service to the public, saving lives and helping those when they need it the most 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
“West Midlands Ambulance Service also provides medical cover for all the home matches played at the Port Vale, ensuring that should anyone ever unfortunately become ill whilst at the Stadium there is someone on hand to help.”
The visit which took place at 10am, saw a number of off duty staff as well as a lucky few on duty, who managed to get a few minutes between calls, come together and grab a piece of cake in celebration.
Micky Adams said: “Our emergency services are unsung heroes and I’m certain that few people really understand the work they do, although they may need them at some point in their lives.
“I’m pleased that myself and Port Vale are able to support West Midlands Ambulance Service in this celebration, while also recognising the fantastic contribution that they make, not only to the football club, but also the whole region.
