PRESENTATION OF REPLICA FOOTBALLS

24 September 2012

Before the Gillingham match on Saturday, Ken Hancock, (ex-Port Vale and Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper) presented two replica footballs to the Club, to be installed in the memorabilia cabinet in the stadium.

They will be used alongside other items which have been donated for the visits of local community and charity groups who this season will be visiting us to learn about the club’s history and the work of a football stadium.

In the picture: Junior season ticket holder, Max  Buchanan (who led the “Save the Vale” campaign at his school Smallthorne Primary, raising £250) is seen with Ken (far right) and other ex-players, Graham Barnett, John Poole, Terry Miles, John Reeves, Mick Porter, Harry Poole.
