Volunteers' Group Grand Draw

Once again the Volunteers’ Group are hoping to raise funds this Christmas by organising a Grand Draw. To make this a success of course we need the help of as many fans as possible to sell the draw tickets.

We have raised a large amount of money in the past and the table below illustrates how effectively the money has been allocated.

Computing Equipment:£2,000 (including computers for the web office, Community Department and Club Shop.

Ground Refurbishment & Maintainance Equipment:£2,000 (including power washer, specialist ladders, paint, refurbishing the running track, the toilets in Tommy Cheadle’s, providing baby changing facilities).

Paint:£1,100 (used around the stadium, Conference centre, boxes, Tommy Cheadles’).

Playing Staff:£6,000 (including technique boards, player sponsorship).

Trophies:£1,000 (used on Player of the Year Nights)

Shirt Sponsorship:£750

Sproson Fund Donations: £1,400

Youth Department: £3,600 (donations including boot sponsorship).

Physio Department:£3,000 (including heart monitors, computer programmes, treatment table, computer,

skeleton!, cryo-cuffs, ultra sound machine).

Physio Department. This season our club has produced excellent results despite having a very small playing squad. All fans will appreciate the paramount importance of maintaining player fitness. So this year the majority of the funds we raise will once again be allocated to the

The Ultra Sound equipment we purchased this year has been put to frequent and effective use .and the cryo-cuff machine we purchased two years ago has also been well used. This machine uses intensive cold treatment and is portable so can be used for away matches,

This year we would like to purchase a second set of treatment cuffs for the machine, so that two players can be treated at the same time.

All we are asking is that as many fans as possible sell at least a couple of books of draw tickets.

There will be five £1 tickets per book so it should not be too difficult.

To make the task easier we hope many of the major prizes will be non Vale related so that the tickets could even be sold to a Stoke supporter!
