DIRECTIONS:

Take M6 S to J8 to join M5. Continue on M5 to J10. Take A4019 to Cheltenham. Keep straight through the lights to a large roundabout by McDonalds turn L. Continue straight over a double mini round about and keep going for 300yrds and turn R into Swindon Lane. Follow this road over level crossings and 2 mini roundabouts until you come to a larger one. Go straight over s/p Prestbury and the FREE Park and Ride service is situated on the L at the racecourse. For the ground continue past the racecourse and turn R (Albert Rd) and follow this to the end.At a roundabout turn L into Prestbury Rd. After 200Yds turn R into Whaddon Rd. The ground and car park are 300 yards on the L.

OVERVIEW OF WHADDON ROAD:

Located in the Cotswolds, parts of the ground have gradually been developed over recent years in line with the Club's fortunes - the most recent being the Carlsberg Stand all seated areabehind a goal. The opposite end is the Cheltenham & Gloucester covered standing area for the home fans.

The In2Print Stand, opened in 2001, holds 2,034, all seated and runs along the side.

The UCAS Stand completes the ground - a small structure, spanning the half way line, leaving standing areas to each side of it.

WHERE THE VALIANTS WILL BE SEATED:

The away fans have been moved from behind the goal and are now housed on one section of the In2Print Stand. About 1,100 away supporters can be housed in this stand which has good views, facilities and leg room!

BEST PLACE TO EAT:

There is an excellent chippy near the ground. Looking at the ground from Whaddon Road go about 200 yards to the right along Whaddon Road; it is on the left.

Alternatively the food inside the ground is highly recommended, with burgers (including a half pounder with cheese) hot dogs, pies(including Pukka Pies) and bacon baps!

BEST BOOZER:

A club called The Robins Nest is right next to the ground and allows in some away supporters for a small fee. The Fox and The Greyhound are two other pubs near the ground, mainly used by the home support. The away fans are probably better heading for the Sudeley Arms or The Conservatory on Prestbury Road about 10 minutes walk away. Turn right out of the Club Car Park then left at the end of the road into Prestbury Road. Go straight over the roundabout and the Sudeley Arms is on your left, the Conservatory further up on the right.
