DIRECTIONS:

Take M6 (N), to J21A and join M62. Follow the Leeds signs onto M60, back onto M62, and then leave it at J20 onto A627 (M) towards Rochdale. Exit the end of A627 (M) in the left hand lane and turn left at the traffic lights. Keeping to the middle lane go straight over the roundabout into Roch Valley Way. At the next roundabout go straight into Sandy Lane and the ground is approximately ¾ mile.

WHERE TO PARK:

Parking at the ground is permit only, so it is either street parking (some streets resident only) or the match day parking at Oulder Hill School on the left hand side of the ground about 10 minute uphill walk to the ground.

OVERVIEW OF THE STADIUM:

Three new stands have been built during the last 10 years, the latest addition being the 4000 seater, Westrose Leisure (Willibutts Lane) Stand at one side of the pitch, opened in 2000/01 season.

Opposite is the all seater, Horners Main Stand, which has a number of supporting pillars and some executive boxes.

At one end is the WMG (Pearl Street) Stand which is the third of the new stands. Again all seated this serves as a family stand.

At the other end is the Thwaites Beer (Sandy Lane) terrace, which has recently had a roof fitted.

WHERE THE VALIANTS WILL BE SEATED:

Away fans are housed in the Westrose Leisure (Willbutts Lane) Stand. Up to 3,650 can be accommodated in the whole stand so away fans are confined to the centre of the stand. This is a refreshing change from clubs which allocate the worst viewing area to away fans.

WHERE TO GET A DRINK:

At the ground there are two bars to choose from, Studds which is under the Pearl Street Stand, and the Ratcliffe Arms which is located at the car park entrance to the ground on Sandy Lane. A couple of minutes walk along Willbutts Lane is the Church Pub which is favoured by away fans.

WHERE TO EAT:

A large range of pasties, pies and even pie and peas are available at the ground, but for the ones who must have their fix of fish and chips there is a small chippy in Willbutts Lane.
