At the next roundabout turn L into Wakefield Road. Staying in the middle lane continue straight over 2 roundabouts (s/p Shipley, Skipton) onto Shipley Airedale Rd which then becomes Canal Rd. Just after Tesco on the L, turn L into Station Rd and L again into Queens Rd. Up the hill take at the 2nd set of traffic lights turn L into Midland Rd.

Where to park:

Resident parking schemes make parking near the ground difficult so it is advisable to use one of the privately run car parks near the ground.

Overview of the stadium:

The ground has been redeveloped over a number of years, especially since the fire disaster in 1985, and reflects the times spent in the lofty heights of the Premiership. The impressive Sunwin and Carlsberg Stands curve round the west and north sides of the ground holding 18,794, the Pulse Family Stand filling the corner. The Yorkshire First Stand in the east holds 4,500 home fans - the away fans behind the goal in the T.L.Dallas Stand.

Where the Valiants will be seated:

The T.L.Dallas Stand is a little out of proportion to the rest of the stadium, but the seats in the upper tier offer a fairly good view of the pitch. Altogether 1,840 fans can be housed. The disabled should be aware that there are a great number of steps which must be climbed from the roadway and are advised to contact Bradford for alternative arrangements.

Where to eat:

Kiosks in the T L Dallas stand serve Shire Pies, hot dogs and burgers. There does not appear to be a convenient, traditional chippy within easy reach of the ground so maybe a visit to one of the many curry houses could be the solution.

WHERE TO DRINK:

The nearest pub which caters for both home and away support is The Carlton which is behind the north side of the ground, i.e. the opposite end to the away stand.
