Central midfield player who was released by Wolves in 2008 and that is when he joined the Vale youth set up. He did well at that level and was rewarded with his first professional contract in the 2010 close season. He became a regular in the side in early 2011 under Jim Gannon and scored his first goal for the club v Stevenage. Sam has a bright future in the game and will be hoping for a regular role in 2011/12.
