Born - Wolverhampton 8/7/1982. Experienced striker who was signed from Barnsley in the summer of 2007. He has been the club's leading scorer for the past three seasons, topping the 20 goal mark in the last two, becoming the first Vale player to do so for 16 years.Able to hold the ball up well and bring other players into the game, he began his career with Blackburn Rovers and has also played for Crewe Alex, Oldham, Halifax, Swansea, Rochdale (all loan) and Northampton Town, scoring over 100 career goals altogether. He has also represented England at Under 18 and Under 20 level, and is the Vale captain and penalty taker.
