On behalf of the Volunteers' Group I would like to thank all the supporters who attended the Quiz Night on Thursday 22^nd of October.

I would particularly like to thank Phil Sherwin for again thinking up such an entertaining quiz, George Andrews for his unique delivery of the questions and the Doug Loft, Luke Prosser, Joe Anyon and Louis Dodds (the answer to one of the questions!) for giving up their time to attend.

It was a successful night with the Keates family winners yet again, winning 5 bottles of wine, closely followed by Val and Mark Meredith's team, winning Vale Ale. The booby prize was 5 decorated wooden spoons, autographed by Micky Adams (the Keates family really would have preferred these!! They will just have to come last in the future).

Altogether over £150 was raised towards our funds.
