MATCH REPORT:STONE v PORT VALE

Posted on: Wed 28 Jul 2010

Vale made short work of Stone Dominoes, romping to a 7-0 victory at the Motiva Stadium Yarnfield. The visitors exerted their superiority early on with Louis Dodds putting his name on the score-sheet. More followed  as a brace by Pre Season Friendly goal-machine Ant Malbon, rounded off the scoring in the first period.

The second half panned out in a similar fashion as French Trialist Joel NDombasi and fellow European Angelo taking their place among the pleasing statistics with a goal apiece. Kris Taylor forced his way onto the scoring chart and Dodds added to his first half strike.

Angelo on the right flank decorated the contest with his vast array of skillls in what was a very impressive showing by players not involved in last night's proceedings. Stone were not totally out of the picture though and Chris Martin showed that he would not be relinquishing his jersey without a fight with a couple of fine saves in the second period before referee Carl Dunn's final whistle came.
