RIGG SIGNS ON THE DOTTED LINE

Posted on: Thu 27 May 2010

Sean Rigg has signed a two-year deal with Port Vale Football Club.

The forward initially joined on loan from Bristol Rovers at the end of November, but has now made the move to Vale Park permanent, after being offered a deal by manager Micky Adams.

"I'm delighted that Sean has opted to sign a contract with Port Vale as I feel he has a lot to offer," said Micky.

"Our plans are now coming together ahead of next season and it won't be long before the hard work starts again when the players report for pre-season training in July."

Rigg has made 26 appearances since joining on loan from Paul Trollope's side - 17 of them from the bench - and has scored three goals.
