Gareth Owen recognises the difference Bradford's appointment of Peter Taylor as manager has already made a difference to the Bantams, but says we must start right now if we are to do anything this season.
He said: "Peter Taylor is a man with a wealth of experience and he is a very good manager. He has taken teams up from this level before, like he did with Wycombe.
"He has experience at the top level too, and he has come in and turned them round a bit - they beat Rochdale in his second game in charge.
"It shows what quality they have got in their side and they will be a difficult team to beat. We all know what is coming tonight, so it is up to us to go out and prove what we are all about.
"I think we have got enough in our dressing room to do that, it is just about getting it all done on the pitch on the night.
"We know we may need to be patient. You can't score every time you go forward and we realise that, but I think what the fans will be looking for is a performance with commitment and passion.
"We need to show that and we need to get a foot hold in the game. It may take until the 90th minute to get a winner, but as long as we stay in the game and keep focused and keep working hard and trying to do the right things - people will forgive mistakes, and if we keep trying to do the right things people will stay with us, so that's what we need to do.
"We can't keep on saying we will do it next week or the week after. We all know it is a tall order now to get into the play-offs, there are plenty of teams in front of us.
"It is not exactly last chance saloon, but we can't keep saying 'we have got another game next week - we have got ten games to go' because ten games becomes nine, nine games becomes eight and so on very quickly and before you know it the season is almost over.
"We have to start in tonight's match against BradfordCity and we will be giving everything we have got to go out there and get the three points."
