VOTE FOR MITRE GOAL OF THE YEAR

The Football League has teamed up with Soccer AM to give viewers the chance to vote for their choice of the best Football League goal of 2009. After each club was invited to submit their best goal, Soccer AM revealed the top 20 strikes of last year on Saturday's show, and fans can now watch all the contenders and vote for their favourite by visiting www.socceram.com/goaloftheyear.

You've only got a week to cast your vote as voting closes at 5pm on Monday 15th February when the 20 goals will be whittled down to five remaining contenders. The overall winner will then be decided on the night at the 2010 Football League Awards which take place at the prestigious Grosvenor House on Park Lane on Sunday 14th March 2010.
