The club have successfully appealed against the booking received by skipper Tommy Fraser against Hereford United last weekend.

Obviously a case of mistaken identity, Vale decided to appeal against the decision and now the booking has been chalked off.

Unfortunately, although the referee got the wrong man, it now means the booking is 'credited' to defender Gareth Owen, who actually committed the offence spotted by the man in charge on the day.
