Reserve-team player Danny Edwards has joined Altrincham FC on a month's loan.

The 18-year-old links up with the Blue Square Premier side ahead of their home game and local derby against Chester City tomorrow.

Edwards, a midfielder, signed a 12-month professional deal with Vale in the summer.
