Pictured here is the kit to be worn by Vale supporters’ team Portly Vale next season – a modern kit with that professional look which has been manufactured locally by Supersport.
Supersport are one of the last, if not the last remaining UK manufacturer of bespoke sports clothing and do everything on site in Leek, from a spool of thread to the finished garment. They have over 150 years of experience in cutting, sewing, printing etc.
As the clothing industry changes, they have kept up to date with the new techniques, and the vast majority of shirts are now sublimation-printed, which means there is no limit to what can be printed and there is one flat cost for all logos, sponsors, names and numbers.
This technique will be used for the Port Vale supporters’ team, Portly Vale, whose kit will feature UK Control Panel Services as the front and back of shirt sponsor, a Supersport logo on the front and a watermarked Portly Vale crest underneath the number on the back.
Hopefully the team’s performances on the pitch will match the quality of the kits worn by the team.
