WHERE TO PARK

There are 700 parking spaces at the stadium (6) which be can be pre booked which is advised for away fans as there are a limited number allocated. (Ticket Office 0845 437 9089). If the car park is full, there is an overspill car park on the nearby industrial estate (about a 10-15 minute walk away) which costs £8. There is a resident’s only parking scheme in operation around the stadium.

 

THE STADIUM

The Weston Homes Stand at the South end of the stadium, has a Police Control Box in it.. All the stands have opaque panels in their roofs allowing more light on pitch. . The facilities and view of the playing action are good. WHERE THE VALIANTS WILL BE HOUSED

Away fans are allocated the north section of the JobServe Stand which runs along the side of the pitch having room for up to 1000 Vale fans.

 

DRINK

The Club allows away fans into the bar and toilets in the concourse area of the Weston Homes Stand, from 12.15pm for a 3.00pm kick. Drinks can be taken outside where there is often pre-match entertainment, such as live bands, playing under the marquee. With the stadium being on the very outskirts of Colchester, then there is little in the choice of pubs.

 

FOOD

A range of food is available on the concourses, including cheeseburgers, hot dogs Cornish pasties, chicken balti pies, steak & ale pies, cheese & onion pasties and sausage rolls. The Hot Shots café at the ground is open on match days and serves a variety of food from soup, bacon rolls, to salads and sandwiches. Beer is available as well as tea and coffee.
