Travel Info ahead of our game at the County Ground

DIRECTIONS

Take M6(S), join M5 and travel south to J11A. Leave the motorway and pick up the A417 (s/p Cirencester, Swindon) which becomes A119 to Swindon. Continue on the A119, which acts as a ring road, until you get to the Coate Roundabout. From there follow signs for Football Traffic and County Ground for 1.8miles which takes you to the “Magic Roundabout.” Car parking is signposted from there.

WHERE TO PARK

There is some street parking as well as parking at the ground for £10.

STADIUM

At the other end is the Stratton Bank Stand, which is uncovered and houses a small electric scoreboard, next to which is a Rolex Clock. The Main Stand is the Arkells Stand built in 1971 – it has the players’ tunnel and team dugouts in front. Opposite, the Don Rogers Stand, opened 1994, has a large upper tier and a much smaller lower tier. A cantilevered roof allows an uninterrupted view of the pitch. The Fast Plant Town End is a small covered stand for the home fans. It has a row of supporting pillars that run across the front of it.

WHERE THE VALIANTS WILL BE SEATED

Fans are allocated the left hand end of the Arkells Stand. There is a small kiosk at the back which serves Shire Pies amongst other delicacies!
