Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD, Page insisted he expects a reaction against Phil Brown’s Shrimpers in Essex.
“We want it back to what it was last Saturday against Sheffield United,” he said.
“For whatever reason we weren’t at the races on Tuesday. Like I said that’s no disrespect to Blackpool.
“They came and made eight changes, it was more or less the reserve team but I think it was our doing, not theirs.
“The way we started we were in total control of the game and sometimes that can have a reverse effect. You take the foot of the gas and get caught and we did.
“We certainly won’t be allowing that to happen again.”
