Port Vale boss Rob Page praised his side’s solid defensive performance against Fleetwood Town.
There were no goals at Vale Park but the Valiants took another point and had the better of the chances on their way to a 0-0 draw.
Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD following the game, the manager said he was pleased with how organised his players were.
“I thought that every one of them was outstanding defensively,” he said. “For all the possession they had first half they didn’t really hurt us, Jak didn’t have a save to make.
“We knew then that we could be defensively organised and catch them on the break and we did with Theo with his pace and again it was just that final pass.”
