Once again, Page shuffled his line-up after the 60-minute mark as he gave the vast majority of his squad a run-out.
Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD after the match, the manager admitted he was pleased with the display at the Novus Stadium.
“It’s been a worthwhile exercise,” he said. “We’ve had two games in two days and it gives us an opportunity for the full squad to play 90 minutes over the two days.
“It was roles reversed from last night, the lads who had played half an hour started the game and played the hour and we changed it round on the hour mark.
“So it was a great exercise for us, a fantastic club, a fantastic pitch and pleased to be part of it tonight and a great exercise.”
