This week we are revealing Tony Naylor’s Port Vale squad for this weekend’s Legends Game.
We will announce a few players each day leading up to the big kick off at 2pm on Sunday. Today's three players are as follows…
Gareth Griffiths – Former defender who spent five years at Vale Park, making almost 100 league appearances. Won promotion with the Club in 1994 and left for Wigan Athletic in 1998.
Sam Collins – No nonsense centre back who arrived at the Club in 2002 and spent four years at Vale Park. He is currently the under-21s coach at Hartlepool United.
Billy Paynter – Striker who started his career with the Valiants, scoring 30 league goals for the Club. He has since appeared for Hull City and Leeds United. Paynter is currently playing for Hartlepool.
