New performance coach John Harbin is hoping to bring a high level of expertise and professionalism to his role at Port Vale.

Harbin has previously worked with the Vale boss during their time together at Coventry City and he arrives at Vale Park with a stellar reputation.
Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player, Harbin discussed what he hopes to bring to the club’s coaching set-up.
“It’s probably to bring an area of professionalism,” he said. “I’ve been involved with some big clubs in football and rugby, in four different countries.
“So I hope to bring an area of professionalism and expertise to the club. I’ve got no doubt that it’s a professional club anyway but maybe something a little bit different.”
