Port Vale defender Richard Duffy has reflected on what he has described as a 'tough' but 'enjoyable' pre-season.
The centre back has been an integral part of manager Rob Page's side throughout the warm-up campaign.
He played 90 minutes as the Valiants concluded their preparations for Sky Bet League One with a win over Altrincham on Saturday.
Speaking exclusively to Valiant PlayerHD following the contest, the 29-year-old assessed the past few weeks.
"It's been tough, it's been different to what we've been used to over the past few years," he commented.
"So it's been really enjoyable at the same time and it's been hard work and the lads have come through it well."
