As announced by the chairman on Monday evening, the Club is now up for sale. Mr Smurthwaite would like to make the following assurances.
Should a suitable buyer not be identified by the end of the current season, a CEO will be appointed to oversee the day-to-day running of the Club.
The Club will continue to meet all its obligations towards staff, suppliers, customers and fans during this time.
