Volunteers donate £100
Donation of £100 for Boomer’s Sweetie Jar
With the welcome return of Gavin Yorke as Boomer the Port Vale Volunteers Group (PVVG) decided that it ought to help to refill Boomer’s cookie jar. A donation of £100 was handed over to Boomer by Lindon Roberts, one of the Volunteers Committee (see photo), so that Boomer can continue to hand out sweets to the youngsters at Vale’s home games this season. Of course this will not cover the whole season so anyone else who fancies chipping in to keep the jar topped up is welcome to contact Joan Stanley, the PVVG Chair, in the Club Shop and she will put you in contact with Boomer’s handler and Gavin’s dad, Errol.
On another note, the Volunteers have embarked on yet another fund raiser and are already selling tickets for their Christmas Draw. Please look out for a seller and help out by making a purchase.
