  • 23-year-old wants to bring pace and goals to Vale attack.
  • Former Manchester City striker signed for club on Thursday.

New Port Vale striker Alex Nimely believes the prior experience he has gained while out on loan will help him be a success in Sky Bet League One.

The 23-year-old signed for the club on Thursday afternoon, putting pen to paper on a contract that will run to the end of the current season.

Having started his career abroad, the young forward moved to Manchester City in 2008 and also spent time at various Football League clubs on temporary deals.

Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player, Nimely was confident in his ability to perform in the third tier.

“My first loan was at Middlesbrough and I went to Coventry and Crystal Palace so I think I am well capable of playing in this league,” he said.
