We take a look at those players away from Vale Park who played midweek.

The goal scoring touch continues to follow Dan Turner in the midweek fixtures, as he scored again for Kidsgrove Athletic.

Grove came up against Northwich Victoria and despite losing 3-1, Turner made it five goals in four games for his loan club.

The striker also hit the crossbar late on as he tried to help aid the fight back for his side.

Elsewhere, Billy Reeves returned to the starting eleven for Witton Albion as they travelled to Newcastle Town.

Witton went on to win the game 2-0, as Reeves played the full 90 minutes for Albion at the Aspire Stadium.

Finally, in the Sky Bet League One, JJ Hooper came off the bench in the 74th minute for Northampton Town.

The Cobblers ran out 3-1 winners away at Swindon Town.
