We are delighted to confirm that Academy Goalkeeper, Joe Slinn, has signed a professional contact with us at Port Vale.
Slinn, who has captained the Youth Team, has signed an 18 month deal with the club, with an option of a further year.The youngster has impressed and has been rewarded for his efforts with his first Pro deal.
Joe becomes the latest to sign his first contract, with the likes of James Gibbons, Dan Turner and Harry Pickering signing last year.
The 'keeper has played a vital role in the Youth sides success in the Under 18 league campaign this season.
Vale currently sit third in the North West division, with just goal difference separating them and second.
The Youth Team are also just three points off table toppers Blackpool.
Joe has also made appearances in the starting eleven and on the bench for the Reserves side, alongside many of the first team this year.
