Rob Page Shows Appreciation To Fans After Win At Colchester United

2 November 2014

Vale Boss On 2-1 Victory

Port Vale manager Rob Page showed his appreciation to the club’s fans following his side’s 2-1 away victory over Colchester United.

Mark Marshall and Colin Daniel both scored in the second half to earn the Valiants a well-deserved three points in Essex and their second win in a week.

Page went over to Vale’s 182 followers on the far side of the Weston Homes Community Stadium after the game and performed a triumphant fist pump.

Speaking to Valiant Player, the 40-year-old boss expressed his delight at the performance of his players and praised the club’s supporters.

“They’ve travelled down so as players we’ve got to show our appreciation to them as well,” he said.

“That’s what it is all about, the club is nothing without loyal supporters like them.”
