Good news as two players near fitness

There was better news from the Treatment Room today when there was a considerable improvement on two players who have been frequent visitors to the Physio recently.

Achille Campion has been given the thumbs up to join in with full training sessions, while defender Frederic Veseli has recovered from broken ribs sooner than expected and could be in the squad for Saturday’s game at Fleetwood.

Rob page told the press this afternoon: “Achille, who we signed a couple of weeks back picked up an injury straight away, but he is looking good on the training pitches with the Physio, so it looks like he could be back in for full time training from Monday.

“It is pleasing for him because it has been a bit of a frustrating time for him and for all of us really, because he played in a reserve game and he has not been able to do much after that because of the injury he picked up.”

Fredieric Veseli’s injury was expected to take a little longer to heal, but he has surprised the club’s medical staff and has trained today with no reaction.

Page said: “Fredi has reacted well to the treatment he has had and he has joined in with the training today and has come through it with no problems at all.”
