Micky Adams has decided against signing Silvestre Guyonet
Micky Adams has informed Silvestre Guyonet he won’t be signing him and the search goes on for new additions to the squad.
The midfielder has figured in all three of Vale’s pre-season friendlies so far but he will now have to look elsewhere for a club.
Micky Adams said: Whilst the French boy has done okay, there are certain areas of his game that he needs to improve on.
“We still feel that we have got some youngsters coming through and if we stick Guyonet in there it might hamper their development as well, so we won’t pursue that.”
The manager will take another look at Steve Jennings this weekend at Alfreton before making a final decision on him.
