Micky decides against signing former Manchester City defender
Vale boss Micky Adams has decided not to pursue the signature of former Manchester City starlet Javan Vidal, after watching him at close quarters in the last couple of weeks.
The former England under-19 defender had played in all three of Vale’s pre-season friendlies, but the manager has decided he will not be part of the Vale squad for the new season.
No decision has yet been made on the three other players who have been ‘on trial’ at the club, but the manager is still hopeful of adding one or two more fresh faces.
