The club confirms the departure of midfielder
Port Vale can confirm that Ryan Burge has left the club by mutual consent.
The midfielder, who is due to be out of contract in the summer, leaves with the club’s best wishes.
Said Ryan: “It has been a pleasure to be at Port Vale Football Club and play my part in this season’s success.
“I've played with some great players and great lads who I wish all the best for the future. I've also had the opportunity to play in front of fantastic supporters who have got behind myself and the team all season which is a credit to the club.
“With the size of the club and the fan base, combined with the hard work everyone is putting in, the club is destined for greater things and I wish all involved the very best in achieving that.”
Port Vale Chairman, Paul Wildes, added: “We thank Ryan for his service to Port Vale.
“This has been a difficult decision for both parties and we would like to wish Ryan the very best success in the next step of his career.”
Both parties will not be making any further statements.
